No Fewer Than 98 Palestinian Detainees Have Died in Israeli Custody Starting From October 2023, Statistics from Israel Shows

Certain fatalities in detention have been high profile, for instance a 50-year-old medical chief who perished in confinement after four months in custody.
An inmate held with the deceased reported that he was led to the yard by prison staff shortly before his death, visibly injured and exposed from the waist down. His remains has not been returned to Gaza.
Further inmates who perished in Israeli custody stay unnamed. Correctional authorities and armed services provided analysts with the figure of deaths in confinement, and limited further data such as the site where they lost their lives, but not the detainees’ identities.
Identification Challenges
