In advance of the series premiere, there was one particularly enthusiastic supporter. "This is the beginning of a type of revolution," remarked John Solomon. His conservative Just the News platform will host the former prime minister's new audio shows.

Establishing Ties in the Conservative Media Landscape

Compatriot supporters, including a advisor linked to Reform UK, have also helped her establish the Truss's program. The setup is adequate, if somewhat rudimentary. The show has attracted ten thousand followers in her debut week and her first episode had 67,000 views in that timeframe.

It is a modest start, but in partnering with the journalist, the former PM is being entering a mature conservative ecosystem creating and spreading pro-Trump narratives. Key fixations include claims of media suppression by the mainstream media and a aim to remove a so-called administrative state – a force that Truss blames for the abrupt termination of her disastrous time in office.

A Controversial Partner

The former PM's foray to import American conservative media to Britain has aligned her more closely to contentious individuals such as Solomon.

He founded Just the News following scrutiny after he was accused of circulating misleading narratives about Biden's anti-corruption work in Ukraine, as well as disputed reports about the former US ambassador to that country.

His claims were amplified across the pro-Trump media, with Solomon appearing as a common interviewee on the prominent Fox News show. The former president personally endorsed the journalist's work.

The journalist published the reports about Ukraine in a series of columns for the publication The Hill, where he was re-designated as an opinion writer following internal criticism over his articles. His claims were key in Trump's pressure for the officials in Kyiv to probe the Biden family in that year. This pressure culminated in articles of impeachment targeting Donald Trump. Joining the Network

The journalist's personal TV and radio guest spots are a indication of the right-wing media network Liz Truss is joining. Hinton said the rise of the digital conservative movement in the UK recently meant the "potential to have a growing impact is significant."
